Celebrity Big Brother started off with a bang in its first season by casting Omarosa Manigault shortly after she was fired from the White House. In Season 2 it has cast another fired White House employee, Anthony Scaramucci. He talked a little about his short time in the administration and revealed whether he still talks to Donald Trump. Here is everything you need to know.
Anthony Scaramucci served as communications director in the White House for 11 days before getting fired
There has been a lot of turnover when it comes to President Trump’s White House administration. That included Anthony Scaramucci’s 11 days being communications director.
“Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. “We wish him all the best.”
This reportedly happened after Scaramucci threatened to fire everyone in the communications department for leaking that he had dinner with President Trump, the First Lady, Sean Hannity, and the former Fox News executive Bill Shine, according to the New Yorker.
He went on to believe Reince Priebus was the person who leaked it so he went on record talking about him. “I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you,” Scaramucci said according to the New Yorker. “Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.” He then continued, “Reince is a f*cking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.”
He then channeled Priebus while saying, “‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the f*cking thing and see if I can c*ck-block these people the way I c*ck-blocked Scaramucci for six months.’”
Scaramucci said he still talks to Donald Trump once or twice a month on Celebrity Big Brother 2
The fired White House Director of Communications still talks to his former boss. He revealed how in the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother 2.
“I still get along with the president,” he said. “I talk to him probably once or twice a month. But I’m usually the one making the call. I would think that a portion of the public probably dislikes me because of my Trump support but I had a great time.”
When Scaramucci addressed the reason for his firing he said it was for “few curse words.” But he assured the audience that his time on the show “It is going to last longer than my stint in the White House, god willing.”
He then said, “I started at the White House my first day with a chainsaw and a hockey mask. I left a big mark there and I expect to leave a big mark in the Big Brother house too.”
It looks like this season will be another one where weird tidbits about the White House will be revealed by a cast member. That is if Anthony Scaramucci sticks around in the Big Brother house.
